2,719 graded takes land strictly between the extremes, and the shape has a story: the counts climb as the scores improve. A take that earns partial credit is far more likely to be nearly right than nearly wrong.
This is where the curve-graded kinds live — mock draft picks (2,039), score predictions (504) and depth chart calls (198) — the kinds where missing by a little costs a little, not everything.

Thomas Fidone II to land on the practice squad
With the Giants likely to deploy a lot of heavy personnel, there could very well be a spot for Fidone on the practice squad unless he delivers a performance that tops that of veteran Chris Manhertz, who is Fidone's biggest obstacle to a roster spot.
Robert Spears-Jennings to make the roster
At this point, it's nearly impossible to foresee a world where Pittsburgh doesn't include Spears-Jennings on its 53-man roster.
Riley Nowakowski to make the roster
A hybrid fullback-tight end, Nowakowski cemented himself as a consistent piece of Pittsburgh's offense heading into the regular season.
