The Atlanta Falcons were founded in 1965 in Atlanta, Georgia. Known also as the Dirty Birds, the franchise plays home games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and is headquartered in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Arthur Blank owns the club, with Ian Cunningham serving as general manager and Kevin Stefanski as head coach. The Falcons reached the Super Bowl following an 11–5 campaign in 2016, part of a stretch that included playoff appearances in 2010 (13–3), 2016, and 2017 (10–6).
