Use MissedTakes in your AI assistant
MissedTakes has a free, read-only connector for AI assistants. Add it, and your assistant can look up a pundit’s graded record, who the room picked in an NFL game, or who called an election race, from the same numbers these pages print, with a link back to each page it used.
The address
https://missedtakes.co/api/mcpNo account, no sign-in and no key. It speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP) over HTTP, which is what “custom connector” or “MCP server” means in your assistant’s settings.
Add it to Claude
- Go to Customize, then Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector and paste the address above.
- If it asks how people sign in, choose No sign-in. Then click Add.
The Free plan allows one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it under Organization settings, Connectors. In Claude Code, one command does it:
claude mcp add --transport http missedtakes https://missedtakes.co/api/mcpChatGPT and other assistants
ChatGPT accepts custom MCP connectors in developer mode, on the plans that offer it: add a connector with the address above and no authentication. Editors and other MCP clients, such as Cursor, take the same address in their configuration file:
{
"mcpServers": {
"missedtakes": { "url": "https://missedtakes.co/api/mcp" }
}
}What it can look up
| Tool | Topic | What it answers |
|---|---|---|
| Find a pundit, outlet, team or player | Both | Turns a name into the slug the other tools take. |
| NFL pundit leaderboard | NFL | The NFL ranking, overall or within one kind of prediction. |
| A pundit's NFL record | NFL | One pundit's NFL record, by kind of prediction. |
| A publication's NFL record | NFL | One publication's NFL record across its pundits. |
| Find individual NFL takes | NFL | Individual NFL predictions, filtered and graded. |
| Predictions for one NFL game | NFL | Who picked whom in one game, and how close they came. |
| Election races pundits have called | Elections | Where the pundits stand on each race, with polling averages. |
| Calls on one election race | Elections | Every pundit's call on one race, with their track record. |
| A pundit's election record | Elections | One pundit's election record and current calls. |
Try asking: “How accurate is Mel Kiper’s mock draft record on MissedTakes?”, “What did the pundits predict for Lions at Cardinals in week 5 of 2026?”, or “Who has called the Georgia Senate race, and what are their records?”
What it returns
Only what this site publishes: approved pundits, approved pieces, graded or pending claims, and the records built from them, under the same rules as every page. Every answer carries the links to the pages it came from, the time it was computed, and the same notes on reading it that the methodology gives: the ranking is the MissedTakes Score, not accuracy alone; a record needs ten graded articles before it is ranked; a pending claim has no grade yet. Answers are refreshed every five minutes. It never returns betting odds, market prices, member accounts, or the full text of anyone’s article; quotes are the short excerpts the pages show.
What we log
Each call records which tool was used, which assistant made the call (as its software identifies itself), and when. Never the question you asked and never your address. The totals tell us whether the connector is worth keeping; the site notice is the full statement.
Reusing what it returns
Our grades, scores and statistics are licensed CC BY 4.0: reuse them freely, with credit to MissedTakes and a link to the page. Quoted source text belongs to its publishers, and polling averages are VoteHub’s, under the same license. If a grade looks wrong, the corrections page says how to tell us.
