2,894 graded takes land strictly between the extremes, and the shape has a story: the counts climb as the scores improve. A take that earns partial credit is far more likely to be nearly right than nearly wrong.
This is where the curve-graded kinds live — mock draft picks (2,039), score predictions (745) and depth chart calls (198) — the kinds where missing by a little costs a little, not everything.
Kadyn Proctor to be picked at number 17
We go to Detroit at 17 and this one feels like a Brad Holmes pick... It's Caden Proctor, tackle from Alabama.
Akheem Mesidor to be picked at number 15
But if they don't go and find a trade up partner, I think a key Mesador would be the pick here.
Caleb Downs to be picked at number 7
They also throw positional value out the window, and I have them taking Caleb Downs, safety from Ohio State.
Olaivavega Ioane to be picked at number 22
if Vega Yolani's on the board for the chargers with their need at guard, yeah, that one is an obvious pick... this one makes too much sense for the charges to pass on in 22.
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren to be picked at number 30
Number 30, Miami Dolphins... Why have them going Emmanuel McNeil Warren, the Toledo safety here
Spencer Fano to be picked at number 9
I have them going Utah tackle Spencer Fano with the ninth overall pick.
Mansoor Delane to be picked at number 8
Alright. The number eight overall pick, New Orleans Saints on the clock. I've kept not straying too far for this team and going Monsieur D'Alene
Malachi Lawrence to be picked at number 27
27 with San Francisco forty niners. I have them going Malachi Lawrence Edge from UCF.
Avieon Terrell to be picked at number 29
'29 is the Chiefs again... And I had them taking a guy that I think is very similar to Trent McDuffie, and that's Avion Tyrell.
Omar Cooper to be picked at number 23
23 for the Eagles... I'm going Omar Cooper Junior here.
Keldric Faulk to be picked at number 25
which leads us to '25 with the Chicago Bears... if he does fall here, Dennis Allen's gonna fall over himself drafting him, and that's Auburn Edge, Keldrick Falk.
Max Iheanachor to be picked at number 20
Dallas Cowboys at 20... So I'm going Maxie short here, the Arizona State right tackle.
Kenyon Sadiq to be picked at number 14
and so Kenyan Sadiq comes off the board here at fourteen.
Jermod McCoy to be picked at number 16
16, New York Jets... You can't wait and get a guy like Jermaine McCoy, the Tennessee quarterback. So that's where I'm going here.
Francis Mauigoa to be picked at number 11
They're keeping the guy local. They I have them taking Francis Maitonoa out of Miami.
Ty Simpson to be picked at number 24
On to '24... I'm gonna go Ty Simpson, though, the Alabama quarterback.
David Bailey to be picked at number 3
So I kept David Bailey here at three.
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
if we're gonna start number one overall, this feels like cut and dry. We're putting this in Sharpie. It is Fernando Mendoza, quarterback from Indiana.
Cade McDonald to be picked at number 26
Bills are on the clock here at 26... I have going Ohio State defensive tackle, Caden McDonald
Chris Johnson to be picked at number 32
Number 32, last pick. Your Seattle Seahawks... Let's go get Chris Johnson, the San Diego State cornerback
Jeremiyah Love to be picked at number 4
Number four, it's Jeremiah Love, the Tennessee Titans.
Jordyn Tyson to be picked at number 10
Alright. Number 10, New York Giants newly acquired pick from the Cincinnati Bengals... I'm not saying, but I'm saying this is gonna be Jordan Tyson.
Dillon Thieneman to be picked at number 18
18, Minnesota Vikings... but it's still in Theaman... So, I have him going there at 18.
Denzel Boston to be picked at number 33
the Washington mayor is very happy to have him there at 33, and that is wide receiver Denzel Boston out of Washington
Lorenzo Styles to be picked at number 209
Six round two zero nine, the next pick, Lorenzo Styles Junior. I'm calling him a DB.
