MissedTakes Grades Punditry on Every NFL Club for the 2026 Season

AUSTIN, Texas — September 23, 2026 — MissedTakes has graded public punditry on every one of the NFL's 32 clubs for the 2026 season, with each club now carrying at least 10 graded calls and 4,927 graded calls in all.

A club counts as covered once at least 10 public predictions about it — calls naming the club directly, or calls about one of its games — have been checked against what actually happened. A call about a single game counts toward both teams playing in it.

Coverage is far from even. The Buffalo Bills lead the league with 346 graded calls this season, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles (264), Miami Dolphins (244), Washington Commanders (222) and Los Angeles Rams (210). At the other end, the Indianapolis Colts have the fewest graded calls of any club at 51, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (75) and Atlanta Falcons (89) also among the least discussed.

Some of the clearest hits came from the most-covered club's biggest early test. Ahead of Buffalo's Week 2 trip to Houston this season, Danny Parkins, AJ Hawk and John Breech each picked the Bills outright in a spot most of the field had going the other way; Buffalo won 36-31, and all three calls graded out with full accuracy and a skill score of 200 — the top mark the site awards, reserved for calls that beat what the game situation alone would suggest. On the least-covered end, John Middlekauff called Anthony Richardson a bust for the Colts before last season even started, a call that later graded out fully correct.

Across MissedTakes as a whole, we've now graded 9,989 predictions from 891 approved pundits writing or speaking for 167 outlets we track, drawn from 6,058 articles, podcasts and broadcasts and 682 hours of transcribed audio. On the leaderboard, Lance Zierlein currently holds the top overall spot, though with 43 graded calls to his name his record is still a lean rather than a settled one. Across 13 completed seasons of tracking, the punditry we've graded has landed at 60.7% mean accuracy.
