2,704 graded takes land strictly between the extremes, and the shape has a story: the counts climb as the scores improve. A take that earns partial credit is far more likely to be nearly right than nearly wrong.
This is where the curve-graded kinds live — mock draft picks (2,036), score predictions (492) and depth chart calls (198) — the kinds where missing by a little costs a little, not everything.
Kendre Miller to make the roster
Miller’s roster spot now appears safe
Ameer Abdullah to make the roster
The fact that Abdullah didn’t play suggests Jacksonville will keep four running backs.
Luke McCaffrey to make the roster
Luke McCaffrey’s roster spot is in danger: ... McCaffrey is only likely to make the roster if Washington keeps seven wide receivers.
Elijah Sarratt to make the roster
While he is likely to make the Ravens' roster given the investment Baltimore made in him, he isn’t as high on the depth chart.
Tom Kennedy to make the roster
Tom Kennedy is the next man up among the outside receivers, and appears to have secured a roster spot.
Mitchell Tinsley to be cut
That could leave Tinsley as the odd man out at wide receiver.
Carson Wentz to make the roster
Carson Wentz played only the second quarter last week and just eight snaps in this game, suggesting he should make the Vikings’ roster.
Jack Strand to land on the practice squad
Most likely, Atlanta will try to sneak him onto its practice squad unless more significant moves occur at the QB position that free up a spot.
Caden Curry to make the roster
Day 3 defensive ends George Gumbs Jr. and Caden Curry have essentially forced their way onto the Colts' initial 53-man roster.

Ideally, the Giants slide Bryan Hudson through to the practice squad as insurance.
Bobby Jamison-Travis to land on the practice squad
That addition should mean sixth-round draft pick Bobby Jamison-Travis goes to the practice squad
Nic Jones to make the roster
The last spot on this unit was a toss-up between Nic Jones and Art Green ... Green’s injury late in the game might have swung the pendulum in Jones’s favor for that final spot.
