Mason Miller to land on the practice squad
Practice squad: Elijah Klein, Mason Miller.
Dominic Lovett to land on the practice squad
Practice squad: Tom Kennedy, Lucky Jackson, Dominic Lovett.
Marcus Davenport to make the roster
The edge rusher they have to pay off that cap total is defensive end Marcus Davenport when they do move him on the 53-man roster.
Brevin Jordan to make the roster
The most likely bet to be the odd man out, at least to start, would be Jordan. That's because he's been dealing with a leg injury as of late, and wasn't one of the four on the initial 53-man roster to begin with.
Keyshawn James-Newby to land on the practice squad
If either veteran stalls, don't be surprised if the Eagles promote the rookie they were most afraid to lose.
J.C. Davis — “Week 1 inactive”
OT J.C. Davis — the Giants are not likely to carry a fourth offensive tackle
Tyrone Tracy Jr. — “Week 1 inactive”
RB Tyrone Tracy, Jr. The odds of the Giants keeping four running backs active for Sunday night really don’t make sense.
Braxton Berrios to land on the practice squad
Because we project that receiver Braxton Berrios will be elevated from the practice squad, the Giants would only need to have six players inactive.
Darius Slayton — “Week 1 inactive”
WR Darius Slayton ... There’s no need to dress Slayton ... for the game
Elijah Campbell — “Week 1 inactive”
DB Elijah Campbell ... I can’t see how the Giants would keep both him and Elijah Campbell active.
Bobby Jamison-Travis — “Week 1 inactive”
DL Bobby Jamison-Travis — the young draft pick needs a little more time to develop his skills to be fully competitive at this level.
Thomas Fidone II — “Week 1 inactive”
TE Thomas Fidone II — The Giants aren’t dressing four tight ends and a fullback. Fidone becomes the odd man out in this case.
Trevon Diggs to land on the practice squad
He will begin the regular season on the practice squad, but there are plans for him to be a part of their secondary once he gets up to speed.
LeQuint Allen Jr. — “will most likely miss the game (Week 1)”
It seems like LeQuint Allen Jr. will most likely miss the game
Jawhar Jordan to land on the practice squad
Running backs Jawhar Jordan and Noah Whittington... So for many of the Texans' practice squad players, like in the case of those in the running back or defensive back room, they've got a great chance to be elevated at some point this season
Alijah Huzzie to land on the practice squad
cornerbacks Bryce Hall and Alijah Huzzie... they've got a great chance to be elevated at some point this season
Noah Whittington to land on the practice squad
Running backs Jawhar Jordan and Noah Whittington... they've got a great chance to be elevated at some point this season
Bryce Hall to land on the practice squad
cornerbacks Bryce Hall and Alijah Huzzie... they've got a great chance to be elevated at some point this season
Taylor Rapp to land on the practice squad
Any return would likely begin via the practice squad, which would give Rapp a chance to work with the team and potentially be activated on gameday.
Micah Parsons — “will miss the first four games”
He's going to miss the first four games.
Ogbo Okoronkwo to land on the practice squad
Expect the 49ers to call up veteran defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo from the practice squad for this game.
Greg Dortch — “makes the active 53-man roster by the end of September”
fans shouldn't be surprised if Dortch eventually makes his way onto the active 53-man roster by the time the end of September comes around
J.J. McCarthy to make the roster
After weeks of speculation, the Minnesota Vikings are expected to keep third-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy on the active roster.
Xavier Restrepo — “works his way into live action sooner rather than later”
Don't be at all surprised if the sophomore pass-catcher works his way into live action sooner rather than later.
Nate Lynn — “transition to the active game-day roster early in the season”
Ossai's injury could pave the way for him to make the transition to the active game-day roster early in the season.
