Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321673 picks · off by 10 on average76.3 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10094 picks · off by 33 on average38.7 avg

- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1673 first-round picks the average score is 76.3, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Every mock draft picks take
1001–1025 of 4,334
Cashius Howell to be picked “first round” (picks 1–32)
Kansas City could be looking at choosing from Keldrick Fauch, TJ Parker, Akeem Messador, Cassius Howell, or Malachi Lawrence. Those are the guys that probably could be going maybe in the first round.
Jeremiyah Love to be picked at number 3
so the pick is in we don't know it's, don't know who it is yet, but it's probably ... Jeremiah Love, if I had to guess, if if they are staying.
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
it's not it's not a 100 confirmed that the Las Vegas fans are taking Fernando Mendoza, but it is the highly expected outcome, at one overall
Sonny Styles to be picked at number 7
It likely. It better be. It better be. Bobby Wagner is a free agent. They need a line I mean, it I feel like that's gotta be the guy.
Caleb Downs to be picked at number 10
So the Giants are Giants are definitely gonna take Caleb downs at ten.
Sonny Styles to be picked at number 7
Well, the commander's pick is still in... It's got it's gotta be Sonny Styles. Right? I mean, it has to be.
Arvell Reese to be picked at number 6
I don't think that they would have jumped up to six to to take Bane... So I think it's it's gotta be Reese
Rueben Bain to be picked at number 14
So who are the Baltimore Ravens going to take at 14? I would be surprised. I won't be surprised if it's Ruben Bane.
Arvell Reese to be picked at number 6
So but, yeah, we'll gotta be edge rusher. It's gotta be edge rusher. They want Reese... I think it's gotta be Reese. If the Giants don't take him first, that that's my feeling.
Rueben Bain to be picked at number 6
if I'm trading up, I would assume that it is for Ruben Bayne, Jordan Tyson, or Sonny Styles in that order
Rueben Bain to be picked at number 6
It's gonna be Ruben Bayne, probably followed by Jordan Tyson.
Ty Simpson to be picked at number 32
So I have Arizona jump with a thirty fourth pick... and take the Seahawks pick at 32... And Tye Simpson goes to the Cardinals
Caleb Lomu to be picked at number 27
With the twenty seventh overall pick... The San Francisco forty niners select Caleb Lomu, offensive tackle, Utah.
Makai Lemon to be picked at number 19
The Panthers going with McKay Lemmon
Kenyon Sadiq to be picked at number 14
Ravens replace freakish tight end Isaiah Likeley with freakish tight end Kenyon Sadiq.
Jeremiyah Love to be picked at number 4
The fourth pick is not what I would do, but Jeremiah Love, people say is the best player in the draft... I do think if he is there, they will do it.
Dillon Thieneman to be picked at number 18
Everyone has Dylan Thieneman, back to the Vikings.
Arvell Reese to be picked at number 3
And I have Dallas taking the big swing... Arvel Reese with the comps to Micah Parsons, they give up twelve and twenty to move up.
Denzel Boston to be picked at number 29
With the twenty ninth overall pick... his Kansas City Chiefs select Denzel Boston, wide receiver Washington.
Sonny Styles to be picked at number 5
Sonny Styles to the Giants.
Olaivavega Ioane to be picked at number 14
with the fourteenth pick in Nick Wright's mott drive four point oh the Baltimore Ravens select Vanga Yoani guard Penn State
David Bailey to be picked at number 8
With the eighth pick of Nick Wright's mock draft four point o, the New Orleans Saints select David Bailey, edge, Texas Tech.
Caleb Downs to be picked at number 7
With the seventh overall pick... the Washington commanders select Caleb Downs, safety, Ohio State.
K.C. Concepcion to be picked at number 30
With the thirtieth overall pick... the Miami Dolphins select Casey Concepcion, wide receiver Texas a and f.
B.J. to be picked at number 20
Cardinals with the trade down, they get Falk on an edge with upside
