Mock Draft Picks
Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321676 picks · off by 10 on average76.3 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10094 picks · off by 33 on average38.7 avg
- Day 3 · 101–175158 picks · off by 41 on average32.7 avg
- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1676 first-round picks the average score is 76.3, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Every mock draft picks take
1351–1375 of 4,338
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
Fernando Mendoza, number one of the Raiders.
Spencer Fano to be picked at number 11
Spencer Fano, the big tackle from Utah goes 11 to the Miami Dolphins in this mock draft.
Francis Mauigoa to be picked at number 3
Francis Mowajoa, the big tackle from Miami, three to Arizona.
D'Angelo Ponds to be picked at number 51
D'Angelo Ponds, by the way, goes 51 in this mock draft
David Bailey to be picked at number 4
At number four, David Bailey, the edge rusher to Tennessee.
Sonny Styles to be picked at number 5
And giants at five, Sonny Styles out of Ohio State.
Arvell Reese to be picked at number 2
Arbel Reese, two to the Jets.
Kadyn Proctor to be picked at number 17
I mocked Caden Proctor to Detroit at 17 because I just think the SEC factor, the Alabama factor, Brad Holmes likes Alabama players
Olaivavega Ioane to be picked at number 14
Yoane, the big guard from Penn State going to the Ravens at 14
Kadyn Proctor to be picked at number 28
Caden Procter 28 to Houston
Blake Miller to be picked at number 24
Blake Miller going 24 to the Browns
Derrick Moore to be picked at number 50
Reed has the lions at 50 taking Michigan edge, Derek Moore, with their second round pick.
Keldric Faulk to be picked at number 30
Kendrick Falk who Falk, the edge rusher from Auburn ... going number 30 to the Dolphins here at the end of the first round
Monroe Freeling to be picked at number 17
So at number 17 in Jordan reads, espn.com mock draft, He is the lion selecting Monroe Freeling, the tackle from Georgia.
Kenyon Sadiq to be picked at number 14
and so Kenyan Sadiq comes off the board here at fourteen.
Keldric Faulk to be picked at number 25
which leads us to '25 with the Chicago Bears... if he does fall here, Dennis Allen's gonna fall over himself drafting him, and that's Auburn Edge, Keldrick Falk.
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
if we're gonna start number one overall, this feels like cut and dry. We're putting this in Sharpie. It is Fernando Mendoza, quarterback from Indiana.
David Bailey to be picked at number 3
So I kept David Bailey here at three.
Cade McDonald to be picked at number 26
Bills are on the clock here at 26... I have going Ohio State defensive tackle, Caden McDonald
Olaivavega Ioane to be picked at number 22
if Vega Yolani's on the board for the chargers with their need at guard, yeah, that one is an obvious pick... this one makes too much sense for the charges to pass on in 22.
Caleb Downs to be picked at number 7
They also throw positional value out the window, and I have them taking Caleb Downs, safety from Ohio State.
Avieon Terrell to be picked at number 29
'29 is the Chiefs again... And I had them taking a guy that I think is very similar to Trent McDuffie, and that's Avion Tyrell.
Akheem Mesidor to be picked at number 15
But if they don't go and find a trade up partner, I think a key Mesador would be the pick here.
Francis Mauigoa to be picked at number 11
They're keeping the guy local. They I have them taking Francis Maitonoa out of Miami.
Kadyn Proctor to be picked at number 17
We go to Detroit at 17 and this one feels like a Brad Holmes pick... It's Caden Proctor, tackle from Alabama.
