Mock Draft Picks
Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321676 picks · off by 10 on average76.3 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10094 picks · off by 33 on average38.7 avg
- Day 3 · 101–175158 picks · off by 41 on average32.7 avg
- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1676 first-round picks the average score is 76.3, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.

- Emmanuel PregnonG7 mocksmocked around 35 · went at 88

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Every mock draft picks take
1376–1400 of 4,338
Max Iheanachor to be picked at number 20
Dallas Cowboys at 20... So I'm going Maxie short here, the Arizona State right tackle.
Peter Woods to be picked at number 28
Houston Texans, 28. Give me Peter Woods, the Clemson DT.
Omar Cooper to be picked “before the Eagles pick at 23”
I also if I had to bet, I think Cooper might come off the board before the Eagles
Mansoor Delane to be picked at number 8
Alright. The number eight overall pick, New Orleans Saints on the clock. I've kept not straying too far for this team and going Monsieur D'Alene
Spencer Fano to be picked at number 9
I have them going Utah tackle Spencer Fano with the ninth overall pick.
Sonny Styles to be picked at number 5
Number five with the Giants, their first pick... but I have Sonny Styles going here. The linebacker out of Ohio State
Blake Miller to be picked at number 31
31 for the patriots. This feels like a dream scenario for them. I had them going Blake Miller tackle from Clemson.
Malachi Lawrence to be picked at number 27
27 with San Francisco forty niners. I have them going Malachi Lawrence Edge from UCF.
Omar Cooper to be picked at number 23
23 for the Eagles... I'm going Omar Cooper Junior here.
K.C. Concepcion to be picked at number 19
I have them going KC Concepcion, wide receiver out of text saying them.
Ty Simpson to be picked at number 24
On to '24... I'm gonna go Ty Simpson, though, the Alabama quarterback.
Jermod McCoy to be picked at number 16
16, New York Jets... You can't wait and get a guy like Jermaine McCoy, the Tennessee quarterback. So that's where I'm going here.
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren to be picked at number 30
Number 30, Miami Dolphins... Why have them going Emmanuel McNeil Warren, the Toledo safety here
Jordyn Tyson to be picked at number 10
Alright. Number 10, New York Giants newly acquired pick from the Cincinnati Bengals... I'm not saying, but I'm saying this is gonna be Jordan Tyson.
Jeremiyah Love to be picked at number 4
Number four, it's Jeremiah Love, the Tennessee Titans.
Arvell Reese to be picked at number 2
Number two, I'm not buying the David Bailey smoke... We're going Arvell Reese, the Ohio State linebacker slash edge.
Makai Lemon to be picked at number 21
But Mikai Lemmon falling here at 21 feels like a perfect fit for what the Steelers need in their receiver room.
Monroe Freeling to be picked at number 13
I think they're going tackle here... and I have them taking Monroe Freeling out of Georgia.
Dillon Thieneman to be picked at number 18
18, Minnesota Vikings... but it's still in Theaman... So, I have him going there at 18.
Carnell Tate to be picked at number 6
Hi, Browns at six... Because Carnell Tate is just he doesn't drop passes... you for sure found one here at number six overall.
Chris Johnson to be picked at number 32
Number 32, last pick. Your Seattle Seahawks... Let's go get Chris Johnson, the San Diego State cornerback
Rueben Bain to be picked at number 12
Pick 12. Dallas cowboys... It's Ruben Bayne junior. The Miami defensive end falls all the way down here to 12
Jager Burton to be picked at number 132
with the one thirty second pick in the NFL draft, the Washington mayors take Jager Jagger Burton... center out of Kentucky
Riley Nowakowski to be picked “seventh round pick” (picks 217–257)
Riley Nowakowski out of Indiana... So he is the seventh round pick wrapping up this mock draft.
Lorenzo Styles to be picked at number 209
Six round two zero nine, the next pick, Lorenzo Styles Junior. I'm calling him a DB.
