Mock Draft Picks
Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321676 picks · off by 10 on average76.3 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10094 picks · off by 33 on average38.7 avg
- Day 3 · 101–175158 picks · off by 41 on average32.7 avg
- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1676 first-round picks the average score is 76.3, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.

- Emmanuel PregnonG7 mocksmocked around 35 · went at 88

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Every mock draft picks take
1651–1675 of 4,348
Derek Moore to be picked “day three grade, probably later in the fourth round” (picks 101–140)
So to me, day three grade, probably probably later in the fourth round is where I would value Derek Moore.
David Bailey to be picked “top 10” (picks 1–10)
I would say David Bailey's probably gonna go in the top 10.
Malachi Lawrence to be picked “first round” (picks 1–32)
a first round grade, easy first round grade for me
Romello Height to be picked “fourth round type prospect” (picks 101–140)
I think of him as an, as a fourth round type prospect.
Akheem Mesidor to be picked “late first, early second round” (picks 1–64)
So I think of him as a as a late first, early second round, type prospect.
Zion Young to be picked “day two grade”
So I think even more of a as a day two grade, good good football player
Ty Simpson to be picked “second round to the Rams” (picks 33–64)
he, ideally, would go on the second round to the Rams and sit behind Matthew Stafford for two years
Monroe Freeling to be picked at number 6
He's going to go higher, I think, than people think. I mean, I could see him as early as six to the Browns.
Sonny Styles to be picked at number 5
Number five, New York Giants. Give me Sonny Styles here, the Ohio State linebacker.
Caleb Lomu to be picked at number 19
the Carolina Panthers are on the clock. I'm gonna go Caleb Lomu, the Utah tackle for them.
Carnell Tate to be picked at number 4
They go Carnell Tate, wide receiver out of Ohio State.
Spencer Fano to be picked at number 9
they stick at nine. They make this pick. It's an offensive tackle... I'm going Spencer Fauna, the Utah right tackle.
Chris Johnson to be picked at number 29
Number 29, Kansas City Chiefs... they get the Trent McDuffie replacement and Chris Johnson, the San Diego State corner.
Keldric Faulk to be picked at number 20
Dallas Cowboys had picked number 20... I've going to Keldrick fault from Auburn
Jordyn Tyson to be picked at number 24
24, we have a no brainer from you, JPay. It's Jordan Tyson
David Bailey to be picked at number 8
here, they're just taking best player available, and I haven't going David Bailey
Kenyon Sadiq to be picked at number 27
number 27, San Francisco forty niners. I'm going Kenyan Saddique, Oregon tight end.
Jermod McCoy to be picked at number 18
I have been going Jermaine McCoy, corner from Tennessee.
Rueben Bain to be picked at number 7
pick seven here of our twenty twenty six mock draft commanders on the board, and I'm gonna go Reuben Bain junior, the Miami defensive end
Kadyn Proctor to be picked at number 17
Number 17, Detroit Lions. I think this is Caden Proctor's floor.
Olaivavega Ioane to be picked at number 14
I'm going Vega Yoani, offensive, guard from Penn State.
K.C. Concepcion to be picked at number 13
the guy I've come around to for them is Casey Concepcion
Omar Cooper to be picked at number 23
Philadelphia Eagles at 23... But I'm going Omar Cooper junior here
Arvell Reese to be picked at number 2
So I think Arvel Reese is gonna go second overall.
Max Iheanachor to be picked at number 31
Patriots at 31 to me, dream scenario for them. Truly, Maxey Hahn and Shore, the Arizona State tackle
