Mock Draft Picks
Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321676 picks · off by 10 on average76.3 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10094 picks · off by 33 on average38.7 avg
- Day 3 · 101–175158 picks · off by 41 on average32.7 avg
- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1676 first-round picks the average score is 76.3, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Every mock draft picks take
2751–2775 of 4,373
Michael Trigg to be picked at number 74
Okay. We will take Trigg.
Bryce Lance to be picked at number 146
You wanna go Bryce Lance and see what we get going forward? Yeah. Why not? K. There's your wide receiver.
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
I do believe he'll go number one overall, And I do believe he'll go to the Raiders, but it's because the Raiders are desperate for a quarterback
Jeremiyah Love to be picked “top five pick” (picks 1–5)
To me, Man, we're talking about a top five pick... you could talk yourself in and take him and within one the first four five picks.
Omar Cooper to be picked “first round” (picks 1–32)
Omar Cooper I think helped himself the four to four. He's the first rounder now... He's the safest maybe of all those wide receivers, which will help him get drafted in the first round.
Mike Washington to be picked “day two, second or third round” (picks 33–100)
Are we to talk about Mike Washington coming off the board on day two, second or third round. Somewhere in that conversation, his name has to come up.
Rueben Bain to be picked at number 7
You have the number seven pick going to the Washington Commanders and Ruben Bain junior ... University of Miami ... edge rusher
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
I'm thinking like Fernando Mendoza, he's probably gonna be the number one pick the quarterback out of Indiana.
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
You do have Fernando Mendoza as the number one pick for the Las Vegas Rangers.
Diego Pavia to be picked “I don't think he's gonna get drafted”
Will he get drafted? I don't think so. I don't. I don't. I don't think he's gonna get drafted. No
Mike Washington to be picked “mid round two”
I would say probably mid round two is where the RB two will go
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
Fernando mendoza set out the. Combine why does he need to? Go he's going to be the number one pick overall barring something up for see
Makai Lemon to be picked at number 8
that would make the Saints happen because I think they grab Makaye Lemon number eight
Ty Simpson to be picked “a first round selection” (picks 1–32)
he emerges as the clear cut best on the field as A qb two and a first round. Selection
Deion Burks to be picked “a second round grade” (picks 33–64)
Deion burk's the stud wide receiver out Of. Oklahoma ... he'll probably be a second round. Grade
Drew Allar to be picked “will not be going top five” (picks 1–5)
Drew aller will not be going top. Five
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
They have ten draft picks, including the number one overall pick, and if everything goes the way we think it's going to go Fernana Mendoza, we'll go number one to the Raiders, which solves their quarterback situation.
Sonny Styles to be picked “top ten pick” (picks 1–10)
At the very least. I think he cemented himself as a top ten pick this week.
A.J. Haulcy to be picked “a second round pick to get him, maybe even a third” (picks 33–100)
I like AJ Halsey, LSU safety. I need a second round pick to get him, maybe even a third if the league will let me.
Dillon Thieneman to be picked “somewhere around 20 to 35”
I'm not gonna say negative things about Dylan DeEineman, but I think his draft range is around the Cowboys pick, somewhere around 20 to 35.
Caleb Downs to be picked at number 12
Lance Zirloin just did his mock draft, Caleb Downs, 12 Dallas Cowboys. And I think that would be a good pick
Lorenzo Styles to be picked “not gonna go in the top 50” (picks 1–50)
Sonny Styles' brother is not gonna go in the top 50. It's not gonna happen.
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
if everything goes away we think it should go, he's going to end up the first overall pick and end up in Las Vegas... Fernando Mendoza will go number one to the Raiders
Sonny Styles to be picked “probably a top five pick in this year's draft” (picks 1–5)
So I told you I was going to talk about Sonny Styles, linebacker one, probably a top five pick in this year's draft, inside linebacker.
Sonny Styles to be picked “top ten pick” (picks 1–10)
At the very least, I think he cemented himself as a top ten pick this week.
