Mock Draft Picks
Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321676 picks · off by 10 on average76.3 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10094 picks · off by 33 on average38.7 avg
- Day 3 · 101–175158 picks · off by 41 on average32.7 avg
- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1676 first-round picks the average score is 76.3, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Every mock draft picks take
2726–2750 of 4,373
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
But with Fernando Mendoza going pick one, that's gonna help.
David Bailey to be picked “top 10” (picks 1–10)
just one hundredth of a second slower than, David Bailey, who's gonna go in the top 10 as an edge rusher out of Texas Tech
Mike Washington to be picked “into the top 50” (picks 1–50)
This is a very shallow running back class which could end up putting Washington, you know, into the top 50 which would put him out of reach for Green Bay.
Beau Stephens to be picked “third, fourth round” (picks 65–140)
He's a tackle. You let him play center. You move him to center, but you you can get him third, fourth round, tested really well, has the requisite size that you would be looking for.
Makai Lemon to be picked “the first round” (picks 1–32)
Congrats. Jets that's where he's. Gone that's, yeah that's definitely where he's gonna. Go
Makai Lemon to be picked “the first round” (picks 1–32)
the so he's going to The jets in the first. Round
Jeremiyah Love to be picked “could go as high as number three in this draft”
He could go as high as number three in this draft. I think, yes, third overall for this guy for a running back.
Taylen Green to be picked at number 176
with the one hundred and seventy sixth pick of the fifth, round The Denver broncos Select Taylan Green, arkansas
Dillon Thieneman to be picked “somewhere in the top twenty five picks” (picks 1–20)
everyone's looking for one of these types of players AND i think he's gonna get taken somewhere in the top twenty five picks
Colton Hood to be picked “first round pick” (picks 1–32)
HOOD I think it is able to show up and solidify himself as as a first round pick with a with a workout like this
Garrett Nussmeier to be picked “a third round pick” (picks 65–100)
so now that he might be like a third round, PICK i like him as much as anyone else in this class other Than Mendoza
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
Why mendoza doesn't work out because he's, nos he's a lock for number one and he has nothing to gain from working out
Parker Brailsford to be picked “day two late late day two sort of player”
we like this kid's Potential day, two late late day two sort of player that ends up winning a starting job
Ja'Kobi Lane to be picked “a little higher into day two”
you mentioned how Jacobi Lane, the USC kid, you know, had a good day and he was looked at as maybe more of a third round pick, and now maybe like he sneaks up a little higher into day two
Eli Heidenreich to be picked “gonna get drafted”
I think that dude is gonna get drafted if nothing. Else and you don't see that too often out of maybe.
Robert Spears-Jennings to be picked “a day three pick”
maybe he's A day three, pick like we'll see it has a big. Day
Sonny Styles to be picked “first round” (picks 1–32)
Let's just go ahead and take stunning styles at this point... we have got sunny styles, which is not the decision we were expecting to take in the first round
Demario Davis to be picked at number 176
So definitely a guy that I think is a value here at a 176. I say do it.
Bud Clark to be picked at number 109
here we sit at one zero nine... Probably Clark. I know I took him last week, in one of these, but, man, I just like what he does
Zion Young to be picked at number 40
we will go ahead and add Zion Young to this roster
Demario Davis to be picked at number 176
There you go. Davis is who we are taking, and that will complete the Chiefs draft at this point.
Zion Young to be picked at number 40
At pick number 40... So I would say take the Mizzou Tiger, plug him in, and let him hunt that quarterback.
Sonny Styles to be picked “first round” (picks 1–32)
To me, I almost think you have to go with Sonny Styles. / That's that's where I'm at... you plug him in next to Nick Bolton, you have a new duo.
Bud Clark to be picked at number 109
Let's say Clark. At that point, we have another safety to add that will replace Brian Cook on the back end of this defense.
Michael Trigg to be picked at number 74
Maybe I would just go trig given that he's so close there, and and give us a tight end
