Mock Draft Picks
Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321676 picks · off by 10 on average76.3 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10094 picks · off by 33 on average38.7 avg
- Day 3 · 101–175158 picks · off by 41 on average32.7 avg
- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1676 first-round picks the average score is 76.3, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Every mock draft picks take
1826–1850 of 4,351
Omar Cooper to be picked “Eagles' first-round pick (trade)” (picks 1–32)
The Eagles, I believe, anticipating an AJ Brown trade, end up trading for Omar Cooper, the national champion out of Indiana.
Kadyn Proctor to be picked “Bears' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
Caden Proctor, coach, he's the tackle from Alabama... and so we have him going there.
Cade McDonald to be picked at number 21
the Steelers... on the board at twenty one... So I think Caden McDonald
Cashius Howell to be picked “Seahawks' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
add to their defensive depth with Cassius Howell, the edge rusher out of Texas A and M
Carnell Tate to be picked at number 5
Carnell Tate to the Giants... We're gonna check it back in with pick number five.
Akheem Mesidor to be picked “Lions' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
The Lions still need an edge rusher opposite Aidan Hutchinson. They go with Messador
Jordyn Tyson to be picked “Vikings' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
The Vikings, Jordan Tyson
Keldric Faulk to be picked “Buccaneers' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
They take another swing at it with Kendrick Falk out of Auburn.
Jeremiyah Love to be picked “to Tennessee at No. 4”
He's gonna go to Tennessee... Jeremiah Love to the Titans is a pick a lot of people see coming.
Makai Lemon to be picked “Rams' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
but Lemon out of USC to the Rams
David Bailey to be picked at number 8
I think the best pure pass rusher in the draft, David Bailey... David Bailey to the Saints.
Arvell Reese to be picked at number 2
Number two pick, Arbel Reese, linebacker, Ohio State, maybe the best defensive player in the draft.
Emmanuel Pregnon to be picked at number 22
So they take one of the top interior offensive linemen Pregnant out of Oregon at 22.
Ty Simpson to be picked “Jets' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
Ty Simpson, quarterback out of Alabama, goes to the Jets.
Max Iheanachor to be picked “Texans' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
The Texans always need to address offensive line. They go again... Ian Ocher out of Arizona State.
Spencer Fano to be picked at number 11
Dolphins on the clock, pick number 11... take Fan o the tackle out of Utah.
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren to be picked “Dolphins' second first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
This Dolphins also take a safety, McNeil Ward out of Toledo or McNeil Warren, pardon me, out of Toledo.
Jermod McCoy to be picked “Cleveland's second first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
And the Browns Browns again this to me is the McCoy probably would have been a top 12 pick... if you're Cleveland with your second first round pick
Caleb Downs to be picked at number 7
Caleb Downs, then to Washington... available at seven
Kenyon Sadiq to be picked at number 10
The number one tight end... Kenyan Saddiq out of Oregon... That is top 10 at mock draft one point o.
Ty Simpson to be picked “in the first round” (picks 1–32)
I I wouldn't, but I I do think that he has a great chance of going in the first round.
Mansoor Delane to be picked at number 12
The top corner... Delaney out of, LSU, everyone's top corner in this draft. Cowboys ... so they take him.
C.J. Allen to be picked “second Cowboys pick in the top 20” (picks 1–20)
They take not a pass rushing linebacker, more of a traditional linebacker, and CJ Allen out of Georgia
Denzel Boston to be picked “Patriots' first-round pick” (picks 1–32)
they take Denzel Boston out of Washington
Sonny Styles to be picked “top 10 pick to the Cardinals” (picks 1–10)
Now the Cardinals, once upon a time, picked a linebacker in the top 10... I think Sonny Styles potentially goes there.
