Mock Draft Picks
Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321676 picks · off by 10 on average76.3 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10094 picks · off by 33 on average38.7 avg
- Day 3 · 101–175158 picks · off by 41 on average32.7 avg
- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1676 first-round picks the average score is 76.3, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.
The players who fooled everyone

- Emmanuel PregnonG7 mocksmocked around 35 · went at 88

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Every mock draft picks take
2701–2725 of 4,373
Monroe Freeling to be picked at number 25
there have been people talking about, like, Monroe Freeling and Caden Proctor who are tackles out of the SEC ... How do you feel about twenty five and thirty one?
Monroe Freeling to be picked at number 24
there's not another tackle until Blake Miller of Clemson at 23 and then Freeling at 24
Kadyn Proctor to be picked at number 31
Monroe Freeling and Caden Proctor who are tackles out of the SEC ... How do you feel about twenty five and thirty one?
Francis Mauigoa to be picked at number 6
he has Malagua going six to the Browns, and he is the only tackle that he has in the top 22 picks
Blake Miller to be picked at number 23
there's not another tackle until Blake Miller of Clemson at 23 and then Freeling at 24
Jeremiyah Love to be picked “gone before the No. 9 pick”
I it feels like if Jeremiah Love is at nine, it's a it's an upset. I would agree with that.
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
The only thing we know for certain is for Mendoza is going number one.
Caleb Downs to be picked “lock top ten pick” (picks 1–10)
Caleb Downs I didn't even think did that much at the combine. Don't blame him, He's a lock top ten pick
Kenyon Sadiq to be picked “top ten” (picks 1–10)
Sadik. I mean that's I don't know if he's gonna go top five, but he's going in the top ten.
Jeremiyah Love to be picked “not sniffing falling out of the top ten; goes as high as four with the Giants, farthest fall would be the Saints at eight” (picks 1–10)
So I think the I think Jeremiah lovkick goes high as four with the Titans, I mean the Giants... I think the farthest key word of quote unquote fall would be the Saints at eight... he's not sniffing falling out of the of the top ten.
Carnell Tate to be picked “top twenty” (picks 1–20)
And Carnel Tate same thing. He's gonna go in the top twenty.
Monroe Freeling to be picked “top 15” (picks 1–15)
Monroe Freelee not getting anywhere near 27 and and might not get out of the top 15 crocs.
Jalon Kilgore to be picked “early on in the fourth round” (picks 101–140)
you knew I had to get one more impact player in here early on in the fourth round... South Carolina cornerback, Jalen Kilgore
Caleb Lomu to be picked “top 15” (picks 1–15)
Saddiq, Monroe Freeling, Caleb Lomu. I wouldn't be shocked if all of them are not only gone, but, like, top 15 even potentially.
Kenyon Sadiq to be picked “top 10” (picks 1–10)
Kenyan Saddiq, the tiedin.org, will not sniff pick 27... He might go top 10 like like, Colson Loveland did.
Spencer Fano to be picked “gone before pick 27”
I still don't think he gets to the 40 at at pick 27 though either.
Jeremiyah Love to be picked at number 8
Round one, pick number eight. I have the New Orleans Saints in our post combine mock draft taking Jeremiah Love, the running back out of Notre Dame.
Bryce Lance to be picked at number 170
at pick one seventy in the fifth round, I went with North Dakota State University wide receiver, Bryce Lance
Malachi Lawrence to be picked at number 73
Let's go to round three. Pick 73... is UCF edge rusher Malachi Lawrence.
Lorenzo Styles to be picked “sixth or seventh round” (picks 182–257)
I think that four two seven, though, is gonna create a situation like this where somebody's gonna take that swing in the sixth or seventh round.
Jalen Farmer to be picked “fourth round” (picks 101–140)
In the fourth round, we doubled up with Jalen Kilgore, the cornerback out of South Carolina, as well as Kentucky offensive lineman, Jalen Farmer.
Chris Bell to be picked at number 42
Chris Bell, the wide receiver out of Louisville, who we're taking in our mock draft today at round two, pick 42
Monroe Freeling to be picked “a potential top 10 pick” (picks 1–10)
a Morgan Freleng who has been, you know, taking over all of the draft conversation right now as a potential top 10 pick
Bryce Boettcher to be picked “fifth round” (picks 141–181)
Round five, I went with Oregon... Oregon linebacker, Bryce Bochum.
Jeremiyah Love to be picked “gone before the 49ers' pick at No. 27”
One, the 40 nighters will have zero chance at. Right? The running back out of Notre Dame love. I think we all thought, like, he was a top 10 pick.
