The New York Giants were founded in 1925 in New York, New York, making them one of the NFL's oldest franchises. Also known as Big Blue, the G-Men, or the New York Football Giants, the team plays home games at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where the club is also headquartered. Owner John Mara oversees operations, with Joe Schoen serving as general manager and John Harbaugh as head coach, supported by offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson. The Giants have experienced considerable fluctuation over the past decade and a half. They reached the playoffs in 2016 with an 11–5 record and again in 2022 at 9–7–1, but endured multiple losing seasons in between, including a 3–13 campaign in 2017 and a 3–14 finish in 2024.
